Katherine Fowler is the Chief Operating Officer of Vanova Health, a leading MSO in healthcare,  where she provides strategic leadership focused on empowering independent medical practices. With nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare management, Katherine is committed to creating value through innovative care models that strengthen collaboration between patients and providers. Her work has fostered a dynamic community of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional care across New Jersey.

Throughout her career, Katherine has held key leadership roles with prominent healthcare organizations. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of Vanguard Medical Group, a pioneering independent primary care practice. There, she played a critical role in the development of Vanguard Health Solutions, which is now the foundation of Vanova Health, a leading MSO in the healthcare industry.

She brings extensive experience in the healthcare industry, including work at RWJBarnabas Health in West Orange, New Jersey, where she served as Vice President of Outpatient Services. Prior to that, Katherine was Assistant Vice President of Operations at MedStar Health in Columbia, Maryland. Her career began with HCA HealthONE in Denver, Colorado, where she advanced from Administrative Resident at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center to Vice President of Administration at Swedish Medical Center.

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration with a Minor in Business Administration from Ohio University and a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She further expanded her expertise with a Master’s Certificate in Population Health from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019. She is passionate about mentoring healthcare students at all stages of their careers and is committed to advancing the field through education and leadership.

A Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Medical Group Management Association, Katherine is committed to staying at the forefront as healthcare evolves and transforms. She is deeply involved in community service and has served on the CARES Foundation board for over a decade and is currently President of the Chatham Township Board of Health in her hometown of Chatham, NJ.
